Smart Light Source is proud to provide a unique LED lamp design to replace common incandescent lamps used in existing signal apparatus without the need of an modifications to existing equipment. This lamp design is a fit for all colors keeping the original housing, lens and color filters. Helps operators reduce inventory and maintenance costs as it comes with a 10-year warranty. In addition, special heat sink design does not allow light output reduction for up to 66,000hrs. It is self-contained so that operators do not have to worry about mishandling during installation process. Lamp is IP66 rated so if exposed to water, dust or humidity in the environment it will continue to operate, incomparable with any other LED light source available to the industry currently.

Smart Light Source utilizes LED chip modules in this product with a 90+ Color Rendering Index (CRI). The CRI is particularly important, as it is a measure of light source’s ability to show object colors “naturally” or “realistically” compared to a familiar reference source, incandescent or daylight (incandescent CRI is 95, daylight CRI is 100). Proper Color Temperature selection coupled with the high CRI selection will provide users with a system that will be unobstructed, day or night particularly now since the use of high-power LED sources is being utilized in other applications such as Locomotive Headlamps and Area Lighting. Direct light onto the signal will still allow the operator to identify the true signal as it will not be washed out by other light sources especially during daylight.
